Yes. For front side windows, an
ABE (general operating permit) is mandatory in Germany and Europe; otherwise,
the vehicle’s operating permit will expire.

Do I need an ABE for my wind deflectors?
Yes, an ABE is
mandatory in Germany and Europe for all front-side wind deflectors. Without an
ABE, the vehicle’s operating permit will expire.
Can I install the wind deflectors myself?
Yes, wind
deflectors can usually be installed without tools by anyone, as they only need
to be inserted into the window frame. Each delivery includes installation
instructions.
Can side wind deflectors be installed on vehicles with electric
windows?
Almost all modern vehicles already have electric windows.
The wind deflectors can be installed without affecting their function.
Are the wind deflectors car wash safe?
Yes, the wind
deflectors are car wash safe and do not need to be removed beforehand.
My electric windows no longer close properly
In rare
cases, after installation, the window may automatically reopen due to
sensitive anti-pinch settings. In this case, support the window manually while
closing and keep it closed for 24 hours; the rubber will stretch slightly and
the window will then close properly. A little silicone spray reduces friction
and helps the window close more easily.
It is possible to reprogram your vehicle’s window lifters.
(Condition:
Wind deflector is properly installed)

Unlock the vehicle door (necessary to clear the error memory)

Turn on the ignition, do not start the engine
-
Fully open the window
-
Close the window in small steps, centimeter by centimeter (anti-pinch function is inactive)

Once fully closed (top position), hold the window switch for about 45 seconds on WINDOW CLOSE
Now your window lifter is reprogrammed and the window should operate
normally.
If this does not achieve the desired result, lock the vehicle
again and restart at step 1.
Please check the correct position of the wind
deflector; the window rubber must lie flat and evenly on the wind deflector.
The wind deflector MUST be seated on the window channel!
In which colors are the wind deflectors available?
All
side-window wind deflectors are available in black, smoke gray, and clear.
Roof wind deflectors are only available in smoke gray.

How is the Sonniboy mounted?
Our sunshade is discreetly
mounted in the door frame using patented holders. The Sonniboy can be removed
and remounted at any time.
In which colors is the Sonniboy available?
The Sonniboy
sun and privacy screen is only available in black.
Can I use the Sonniboy on another vehicle?
No, the
Sonniboy is custom-made for each vehicle and does not fit other vehicles.
Can I open the window with the sun and privacy screen installed?
Yes, the window can be opened while driving. The Sonniboy still provides
protection when the window is open.
Do I need an ABE for the Sonniboy?
No, an ABE is not
required for the Sonniboy.

No, no ABE is
required for the loading edge protector.
How is the Protexor mounted?
The Protexor is easily and
quickly attached permanently using 3M tape. If possible, it is also fixed
using original mounting points on the vehicle.
