For your information:

Our front wind deflectors (Profi) are inserted and not glued, and they withstand high loads! Please ensure that the wind deflectors you find online include an ABE for Germany & a DTC certificate for Switzerland, as well as a KBA number that is either embossed or part of the original logo and has validity, which can be found here:

Marking: KBA 90389 Type: A ClimAir

Location of the marking: either: - embossed on the inside of the front lower corner, readable from the inside; or - on a non-removable sticker, readable from the outside

For your own safety, insist on tested quality. Almost all wind deflectors manufactured by ClimAir for the European market have the necessary general operating permit (ABE) according to the Road Traffic Licensing Regulations (StVZO) for use of the wind deflectors on public roads. All ClimAir wind deflectors are inspected by TÜV, and only when all legal requirements are met, will a wind deflector receive an ABE. Wind deflectors without ABE must be presented separately and incur additional costs of approximately €80 - €200.

WARNING: The wind deflectors for the front side windows in smoke gray and dark colors are not allowed in Switzerland and are therefore delivered without a DTC certificate, only in "Crystal Clear" (clear). Not all wind deflectors in the crystal clear version have a DTC certificate. Please refer to the additional information for each product.

Material: High-quality, cast acrylic glass in subtly tinted/smoke gray or as ClimAir Sport, heavily tinted with silver lettering.

Do I need an ABE? Yes. For all front wind deflectors, an ABE is required on German roads, as well as a DTC certificate for Switzerland, as otherwise the operating permit and insurance coverage for your vehicle will be void.
